Bella Coco Merino is an exclusive 100% merino wool yarn created in collaboration with Sarah-Jayne (Bella Coco). For over a decade, she has been inspired by thousands of crafters through her popular YouTube channel and creative universe. In collaboration with Hobbii, she has now designed her own yarn made with crocheters in mind.
The yarn is designed with a heart, crochet hands, and last but not least, a little twist. Bella Coco Merino is spun with a z-twist instead of the classic s-twist. This special twist means that this yarn is made specifically for crocheters. Where the s-twist may tend to split and unwind when you work with it, the z-twist keeps the structure intact. The result is a smooth, flexible, and comfortable crafting experience!
Bella Coco Merino comes in a carefully curated color palette reflecting Sarah-Jayne’s creative journey. From delicate pastels and muted shades to bright middle tones and vivid colors. Pro tip: Merino fibers are very elastic and might stretch easily, especially in larger pieces, due to the weight of the water. This is indeed normal for merino wool. We suggest not using the spin cycle of your washing machine, but instead carefully lifting the garment out of the machine, while supporting all parts, so nothing is left hanging. Then press the water out of the garment manually and without wringing. If you plan to hand wash your project, do not let it soak. We also recommend drying our Bella Coco Merino flat and making sure that no part of your project is left hanging to make sure your project will not lose its shape.
