These delicious Japanese treats are traditionally eaten during the spring to celebrate the opening of the cherry blossom trees, hanami.

It’s a beginner-friendly pattern and is quick as well as easy to make. You’ll work all 3 colored spheres as one piece in continuous rounds, then crochet / add the stick separately before attaching to the balls.
